The greatest Christmas gift

What is the greatest gift you’ve ever received? Was it something you wanted or something you really needed?
As we enter the Christmas season, I want to remind you of the greatest gift of all. Love (1 Corinthians 13:13). Love came down in the form of a baby and His name is Jesus.

Jesus is the answer to our every need. He is the miracle of Christmas. He came to bring salvation, hope, peace, joy and love. These gifts are eternal and can only be given through Jesus. Christmas is a symbol of hope and second chances, it’s the opportunity to start over. In fact, Jesus endured a human birth, for us to receive a spiritual birth (John 1:13).

God loved us so much, that He sent Jesus to save us so that we may believe and have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
Christmas is not just a time to think about the birth of Jesus, but it is to remind us, that through Him, we have hope of an everlasting life.
Are you feeling hopeless this Christmas season…or do you believe in this Christmas miracle?

As you gather with friends and family during this season of miracles, I encourage you to seek His presence, not the presents. And remember, when you seek His presence, all other things will be added unto you! (Matthew 6:33)

God loves to reveal things to His children, but only few seek Him wholeheartedly. We allow the distractions that the enemy puts in our lives, to take up more room than God! Jesus came to save the lost. But there was no room for Him when He arrived. He had to humble Himself when He entered this world. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords entered this earth as a baby in a little manger.

But the world was not ready to accept such an amazing gift, but God knew we needed this miracle. We needed this hope. The time was now.
I encourage you to rise this Christmas. Do not be weary, because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33).
He has left you with eternal hope, and a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, He has given you the Holy Spirit, so that you may never be alone again (John 14:26).
If you are hopeless today because of your finances, broken relationships, work or school situations, remember, the same Jesus that came over 2000 years ago, and brought hope to the people, is here today to bring hope and restore your life to all its fullness!

Do not look at your current circumstances, but believe in Him who is a God of miracles. The Christmas story is ultimately a love story about God’s love for His people.

As you read this blog, I pray for your hearts to receive and believe in the hope of Christmas. May the love of Christ fill your hearts and may His light shine through your life so that others may come to know about the Saviour’s love.

The Iron SharpenHers team would like to wish you and your loved ones a Merry CHRISTmas and a joyous New Year!

Much love and blessings to you all.
