What does Christmas mean to you?


The malls are decked out with Christmas lights, all the retailers’ window displays read SALE SALE SALE, and everyone is rushing through the cash registers to get their shopping done. The hustle and bustle during this time of year is real and we see it or hear about it every day. This is Christmas for most of the world, but what is Christmas about for you? What has He done?


Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way (Deuteronomy 8:2). I love this word because it is so timely. As I get closer to the end of another year, I make it a habit to reflect on all that the Lord has done for me. I write them down throughout the year, just so that I can look back with gratitude on all the times God has come through for me. It can be so easy to forget all the goodness that has been poured out on our lives if we fail to remember the promises that have been fulfilled by God. Which is why I include in my notebook a list of all the times God answered a prayer request, spoke to my heart directly and times where He also gave me a profound word through a dream.
