Heart transplant, anyone?

Ezekiel 36:26

26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

The New Year is soon approaching and the Lord desires to give each and every one of you a new heart and spirit.

He wants to remove the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Stubbornness, unforgiveness, bitterness, lack of compassion, pride, hatred, selfish ambition… these are just a few examples of hearts of stone.

When Moses tried to free the Israelites, Pharaoh’s heart was hardened (Exodus 9:12). He did not have compassion over these Israelites who were slaving and suffering for the Egyptians for years! God knew his stubborn heart and used this opportunity to show the Israelites that He was and is faithful and would take them out of this pit (Deuteronomy 7:9).

The Lord is also faithful to you. He wants you to be sensitive and obedient to Him and His calling for your life.

Your new heart will not dwell on the former things. The Lord will do a new thing in your life!

Isaiah 43:18-19

“Forget the former things;     do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing!     Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness     and streams in the wasteland.

When you ask the Lord to soften your heart, the bitterness, the hurt…everything that hardened your heart, will be taken out. People may have hurt us and still hurt us, but God has greater plans for us. We need not allow the pain of this world harden our hearts and the compassion we have for others.

In fact, there is a limit to what we can do for God and how we can be used by Him when our heart is hardened. Allow Him to conduct this heart transplant! How can we wholeheartedly serve our Master, when our heart is hardened? Are there people in your life that you dislike or avoid because of past hurts and misunderstandings?

Don’t get me wrong, not everyone is meant to play an active role in our life, but are we available for them when they need us? Do not lose your compassionate edge!

Jesus did not allow circumstances or negative people to strip away his heart of gold. He was compassionate toward everyone, and He knew when and how to make a stand for God.

In Proverbs 3:3, it says “Do not let mercy, kindness or truth leave you.”

No IFS and/or BUTS, God doesn’t want it to leave us. When people look at you do they see love and acceptance?

If you are ready for this heart transplant, He is ready to sprinkle his cleansing water on you (Ezekiel 36:25).

Receive it. It will remove all unclean things from you. It will remove all idols you have placed before God.

Pray for this cleansing and remember if we confess our sins, the Lord is faithful to forgive us our sins (1 John 1:9).

If you earnestly confessed and prayed: Thank God that now His spirit will live in you (Ezekiel 36:27).

How do you know the heart transplant was successful?

You will obey Him 100% in all things. You will no longer compromise. No hypocrisy. Your bitterness and hurt or even negative thoughts toward others will be gone in the name of Jesus.

The Lord is here and ready for you.

He desires that His name will be glorified through you and that He will build His kingdom through u.

Do not fear for The Lord is with you. Isaiah 41:10

Let all negativity and pain, and the past sins be gone! He has done a new thing. Isaiah 43:19

God is good and faithful!
